Dr. Niloofar Zarkesh and the staff of Perio4U Specialty Practice are dedicated to diagnosis, treatment and prevention of periodontal diseases as well as placement of dental implants with the emphasis on esthetic procedures.

She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She has successfully passed the required written and oral tests by the board and has made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty and is certified by the American Board of Periodontology.

Her private practice is committed to improving and maintaining patient’s quality of life and self image through smile enhancements, preservation of teeth and replacing missing teeth with dental implants.

Dr. Niloofar Zarkesh attended a three year Periodontics specialty program in University of Southern California (USC) from 1995 to 1998. This specialty program provided an integrated course of study that encompassed a variety of clinical, didactic and research experiences. The clinical experiences included a broad range of periodontal treatments, including the placement and maintenance of dental implants. She obtained her certificate in Periodontics and masters in Craniofacial Biology at completion of this program in 1998.

Her research on periodontal membranes won the Outstanding Periodontal Graduate Research Award from California Society of Periodontics in 1999.

She is licensed to practice dentistry in State of California and has been in private practice in Southern and Northern California since her graduation. She had also been a part time faculty at the University of Southern California - post graduate department and the University of the Pacific.

Dr. Niloofar Zarkesh attended a Periodontics Preceptorship Program at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1993-1994. She got her D.D.S. degree from National University of Iran in 1992.
