Dental Implants

Dental implants are used to replace missing teeth. Dental implants look, feel and function like your own teeth and at this point they are the best way to replace missing teeth. They can be used to replaced one missing tooth, multiple teeth and or even restore the whole edentulous jaw. The jaw bone shrinks after tooth loss which will make a denture loose and not easy to chew on. The implants are used as anchors that will make the dentures more stable and fixed to the jaw. The surgical placement of dental implants can generally be done under local anesthesia.
